Levels of productivity in the USA,Germany and France are more than twice those
of the UK. This means that the best European and American businesses produce
twice as much revenue per employee as UK businesses. The Forum's aim is to
encourage businesses to raise their productivity and competitiveness to become
more successful.
Initially, the Forum has 7 key minimum targets:
Increase sales per employee by 15 per cent
Improve employee productivity by 10 per cent
Reduce customer complaints by 25 per cent
Increase the average length of stay per employee by 20 per cent
Cut levels of poor supplier performance by 7.5 per cent
Raise the Capital Employed in the business by 2.5 per cent
Increase the volume of new business from new markets by 12.5 per cent
