Members with access to the restricted areas can administer their own health
check online and assess their performance. With a little advice from one of our
Business coaches, you can identify your strengths and weaknesses and work on a
series of measure to put them right.
After completing this process, each member can confidentially compare their
performance with that of other members in the same sector. Benchmarking will
allow you to compare key areas in your operating performance in areas such as
labour turnover, profit as a percentage of turnover and sales per employee.
Data is inputted in each category and results are automatically generated, with
comparisons.
Access to training programmes
Training programmes are paramount in employee and business development. Courses
will improve the knowledge and skills of the participants. Seminars allow you
to learn the practical processes from others, Master Classes give you an
experienced trainer or coach to work with on your areas of need to allow you to
excel in business.
PTP newsletter
The Profit through Productivity newsletter is published quarterly, covering the
latest Best Practice news, relevant stories, research and how initiatives in
operation are helping members already.
Club newsletter
The Best Practice Club newsletter is also produced quarterly to communicate to
members, informing them of the latest trends, news, initiatives and case
studies.

Annual Benchmark Health Check
The Annual Business Health Check provides a one-hour telephone support service
for all members, an analysis and verification of data by a business coach, and
generation of a benchmarking report.
Visits to Best Practice establishments
The Best Practice Club, in partnership with Inside UK Enterprise (IUKE), helps
to organise a series of events at Club Members establishments to help
understand how Best Practice can be implemented. Members can extend their
networking relations with similar businesses in their sector, and increase
their knowledge.
Each visit is designed to create a friendly and structured approach for
identifying opportunities and improvements.
Regional and National Conferences
Regional and National Conferences give members the chance to listen to experts
from within the sector and take away ideas and strategies that can help their
business in the future.

Members of the Best practice Club will be entitled to a 10% discount when they
join a participating key Industry Asscociation.
